What is the background of the project?
Clinical elective with opportunity to participate in ongoing research activities (molecular diagnosis of different types of leukaemia). Patients with anaemias, haemophilia, and haematological malignancies will be treated with pharmacs, blood transfusion, bone marrow transplantation.
What is the aim of the project?
To provide basic information on current methods used in molecular diagnosis of leukaemia.
What techniques and methods are used?
PCR-based methods, flow cytometry
What is the role of the student?
What are the tasks expected to be accomplished by the student?
Role of the student is working under the supervision of the researcher on the project.
