What is the background of the project?
Laboratory investigation on ischemic heart disease. Three models: isolated myocytes, isolated rat heart and in situ pig heart. Prevention of myocardial reperfusion injury. Cooperation in a research program in the isolated cardiolmyocyte model. Training with a research group involved in several research programs and targeted training programs supported by the European Union in the field of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion.

Third year of a higher year in a health science study: medicine, biology or pharmacy. Basic knowledge of cell biology and cardiovascular physiology.
