What is the background of the project?
The project recriates in vitro the pathologic conditions of cerebral cortex ischemia in Wistar mice and uses the quantificatyon of Acetylcholinesterase and Butyrylcholinesterase enzymes to make comparative effects with control samples. Therefore is possible to better understanding the pathophysiologic consequences of the greatest cause of incapacitation on the population rank above 50 years in Brazil, the Cerebrovascular Accident.
