What is the background of the project?
Clarifying the gonadal and adrenal effects on brain sexual differentiation, we would like to elucidate mechanism how genes, sex-steroids and stress are involved in formation of sex-specific behavioral and psychotic tendencies. Techniques and methods include immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), cDNA-transfection into cultured cells, and biochemical measurement of hormone levels.
