What is the background of the project?
The aim of the project is to improve the knowledge about Amyotrohpic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and to find new therapeutic
approaches for the treatment of ALS. Therefore we perform preclinical drug studies in well established mouse models.

Another focus of our work is the generation and characterization of new mouse models for motor neuron diseases.
