What is the background of the project?
Visceral leishmaniasis appears in the form of notoriously devastating epidemics and as an endemic disease of sporadic nature in east Africa . the research attempts to understand the nature of this difference and its underlying causes, and to identify possible mechanisms for the investigation of outbreaks,
What is the aim of the project?
What techniques and methods are used?
What is the role of the student?
What are the tasks expected to be accomplished by the student?
Will there be any theoretical teaching provided (preliminary readings, lectures, courses, seminars etc)
What is expected from the student at the end of the research exchange? What will be the general outcome of the student?
- the role of the student will be determined by the tutor himself and we expect our incoming to do the best he can.
What skills are required of the student? Is there any special knowledge or a certain level of studies needed?
* Basic knoweldge on Liesmaniasis ( the institute will provide reading material to study during the project )
* A white labcoat
Are there any legal limitations in the student’s involvement
