What is the background of the project?
Epidemiological survey on the most common food born diseases in Egypt.The student will have learned the basic methodolgy for doing survey studies the basic knowledge about each of these diseases.
What is the aim of the project?
This project aims to study and analyse the patterns, causes, and effects of food born diseases in Egypt.
What techniques and methods are used?
collecting surveys about the mortality of the diseases and proceeding through analysis of the results
What is the role of the student?
- The student will mainly observe
- The student will observe the practical experiments but will be highly involved in the analysis of the results
- The tasks will be done under supervision
What are the tasks expected to be accomplished by the student?
The student should learn how to design and how to do a research, the student will have an active role in collecting surveys about the mortality of the diseases and participate with the tutor in the whole analysis process, at the end of the clerkship the student will make a conclusion according to the statistical studies they already had made during the whole month to evaluate the process, and a scientific report is required at the end of the exchange.
