Type of Research Project
- Clinical Project with Laboratory work
What is the background of the project?
We suggest that the most promising route to effective strategies for prevention of adolescent alcohol and other drug problems is through a risk-focused approach. This approach requires the identification of risk factors for drug abuse, identification of the method by which risk factors have been effectively addressed, and application of these methods to appropriate high risk and general population samples in controlled studies. Along that, the student will be dealing with more details regarding the etiology of poison extraction. The methods and techniques of poison detection will be illustrated and finally the confirmation of presence of poisons and drugs. At the end of this program the student will be able to identify types of drug abuse & prevalence of using them, along with toxicology basic knowledge.
