We do not recommend to come in January, May and June as we will not be able to spend a lot of time with you due to our study schedule.

Social program in Vilnius and Kaunas is a bit different, but CP teams of both cities will do their best for you to have the most amazing experience ever.

Evenings are usually spent hanging out in local cafes and bars, singing karaoke, having movie nights and getting to know Lithuanian culture. There is plenty of sightseeing, visiting museums and galleries. During weekends we provide National Social Program: Upon Arrival Training - National Food and Drinks Party, Seaside trip and a trip to North East Lithuania - our lake region. We also usually visit Trakai, Kernave and, of course, Kaunas and Vilnius.
Special Remarks

Requirements related to COVID to conduct the clerkship in Lithuania:

 1. When coming to Lithuania, we require whatever the Lithuanian Government does at the moment of the exchange; therefore, we ask students to check the information about international traveling which you can find in the National Public Health Center under the Ministry of Health website. Link:
 2. Negative Sars-Cov-2 PCR certificate (written in English or Lithuanian) 72 hours before the arrival unless timespan is changed by the Government or if the student falls under a mandatory testing and self-isolation exemption. More information:
 3. The LC will have the possibility of asking for another PCR during the period of the exchange, especially if the student presents any symptom of COVID-19.
 4. Any expense of these tests will be paid by the student.
 5. Although only some projects require students to be fully vaccinated for Sars-Cov-2 with a vaccine registered in the European Union and have a card of vaccination to prove it, it’s highly recommended since there’s an exemption from PCR testing and self-isolation after arrival for fully vaccinated people. List of accepted vaccines:
 6. Current Government rules state that all unvaccinated people should undergo isolation and testing after arrival, timespan depends on the current pandemic situation in your country. More information:
 7. In case the student requires isolation after arrival, it should be organized and paid for by the student. Our exchange team will gladly help out with the search for placement if asked by the student or by sending NMO.
 8. Self-isolation should end before the beginning of the practice (the first day of the exchange start date) since we don’t have the capacity to prolong the practice due to limited tutor availability.
 9. If the student gets infected during their exchange, their practice will be suspended and mandatory self-isolation will be arranged and paid for by the student.
 10. These conditions can be modified according to specific requirements of the LC assigned to the student, who will be notified in advance.

Suggestions and Recommendations:

 • We recommend reviewing the information related to international travels of the Ministry of Health frequently since some of the arrival rules might change due to the COVID-19 situation in your country. Link:
 • We recommend for the student to contact the Contact Person assigned AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, in order to facilitate communication.
