The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them. So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones. (Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)

Students may need a visa or an eTA to enter Canada (Temporary Resident Visa Eligibility).
 
ALL students who will be working in a hospital environment MUST obtain a "work permit-exempt visa" as per the Canadian Citizenship & Immigration Regulation R186(p), and must undergo a medical examination by a physician recognized by the Canadian embassy as per the Canadian Citizenship & Immigration Regulation R30 prior to their arrival. Most SCORE exchanges however take place outside of the hospital setting.
 
A tourist/visitor visa is acceptable if students are not working in a hospital.

Postponements are very difficult to grant and will only be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please plan to send students within the exchange year designated by the contract.


Requests to be placed with another student will be taken into consideration, but are very difficult to accommodate due to capacity. Please do not expect to be placed together.
