Although we accept English, you need to take into account that all activities in the departments and communication with the patients will be held in Spanish. We highly encourage you to learn some basic Spanish to make the most of your exchange. In case you can't speak Spanish, we recommend choosing Departments with less patient interaction (Surgery, Anesthesia...)Spanish is compulsory if you apply for: Family Medicine, Emergencies, Psychiatry.Cordoba LC only accepts students with a basic to good level of Spanish (B1 minimum)Madrid-Complutense LC requires Spanish for all non-surgical departments. Madrid-Autonoma also requires Spanish for the majority of the departments.Ciudad Real requires Spanish for Paediatrics. Some other LCs might require Spanish for certain departments.

Check Language Remarks above.It is mandatory to have taken and passed the corresponding subject to a chosen department in the following LCs: Albacete, Granada, Ciudad Real, Castellón, Bilbao, Sevilla and Zaragoza.
In Cordoba, Valencia and Madrid-Autonoma, depends on the department.
