The joined certificate could be an equivalent of CEFR.

French is required (COMPULSORY) in these LCs (FRENCH ONLY no exceptions) : Angers, Bobigny, Brest, Marseille, Montpellier, Nimes, Paris 7, Paris Ouest, Kremlin-Bicêtre, Rouen, Rennes, Strasbourg.

Read carefully all of our Explore pages, because some of our LCs have special conditions.

Students are expected to have at least pre-clinical skills, but do not forget that it is only supposed to be an observational clerkship!

Upon arrival trainings are offered to our incomings and more and more educational activities are being developed in our LCs to insure our academic quality.
Nightshifts

Special Remarks

Dress-code : Veils are forbidden in the hospital for the medical staff. Your hair must be attached and your shoes have to be closed.
France is a secular country, so any sign of religion in public places for its workers (students included) is forbidden.

Insurance

Health insurance : It covers expenses linked to health issues (if you have to see a doctor and buy drugs on prescription).
However, this insurance CANNOT be arranged in our country, and should be arranged in your home country. ANEMF recommends to Incoming Students from the European Union that they procure a European Health Insurance Card for the period of their clerkship

Liability insurance : It covers expenses related to damages done to people or material goods by the student outside from his professional duties.
We can advice you some online websites where you can find affordable liability insurances, please ask your NEO to contact the French NEO for that.

Malpractice insurance : It covers students if harm is done to a patient during their professional duties.
You don't have to deal with the malpractice insurance, our LEO will insure you freely with a french insurance company. Ask to your french LEO when you will get your CA.

For some LCs, you will receive a "Convention tripartite"[clerkship agreement] (required by the French administration), that has to be signed by your university, the French university and the French hospital. If this document is not signed by your university, the clerkship will be canceled.

We only provide lodging for the mentioned period in the CA. If the student wishes to arrive before or after this period, the student must contact their French LEO and their CP by an email asking their permission.
