- Clinical Clerkship
A clinical clerkship is defined as the rotation of a student in a clinical department of a hospital or clinic, such as Dermatology and Pediatrics.
Required level of studies
Student has to pass her/his exam if he or she want to practice, but if not both clinical and pre clinical student can come for observship.

Social programs take place at least once a week- usually on the weekend days. Exchangees are encouraged to actively engage in and explore the myraids of  salient festivals, traditional houses where u dance cultural dances historic places and cultures which our country is well reknown for. Cancellation - 6 weeks in advance we prefer substitution to cancellation.

Boarding and lodging - Free of charge on bilateral exchange you will be housed in the students dormitory.For boarding you will be provided with meals at least once per day.

Social program-twice a week.Social programs may vary from one LC to another and are dependent on the period of the year.

in our country we don't have an online payment system so an exchange student has to pay the unilateral payment on the first day of arrival.

  • If you need a Visa, please contact our embassy
  • We can provide Invitation letters and other documents if required
  • as it is difficult to get student visa, we our selves will write a letter and comminucate with the immigration office at Addis Ababa so that they will comminicate ETHIOPIAN embassy at your country. please inform us as soon as you receive card of acceptance if you need student visa
  • you can stay in ethiopia with tourist visa,but we prefer and arrange student visa for our incomings

The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them. So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones. (Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)
The upon arrival documents are hard copies documents that the students are requested to take with them in the host country.”
Immunization requirements
We would like to inform our incoming that due to a recent report of WHO we want you to take those vaccines before you come to Ethiopia. Both for yours and our patients safty

Insurance
  • Health insurance: It covers expenses linked to health issues (if you have to see a doctor and buy drugs on prescription).as NMO WE REQUIRE THIS INSURANCE however, this insurance cannot be arranged in our country, and should be arranged in your country
  • Liability insurance: It covers expenses related to damages you can cause to objects or people outside from your professional duties. As NMO we do not ask for this insurance thus the exchange student is not required to be insurred for it, the insurance should be arranged in your home country if wanted
  • Malpractice insurance: It covers you if you harm patients during your professional duties at the hospital and you get sued. As NMO we require this insurance however, this insurance cannot be arranged in our country, and should be arranged in your country
