The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them. So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones. (Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)
The upon arrival documents are hard copies documents that the students are requested to take with them in the host country.”
Immunization requirements
Students must have the following vaccines before arriving to Ecuador:
  • DPT (Diphtheria- Tetanus- Whooping Cough)
  • MMP (Measles- Mumps- Rubella)
  • YF- Vax (Yellow Fever Vaccine)
Although they are not mandatory to entry in our country this are the vaccines that our health students and personnel must have.

Insurance

Health insurance is MANDATORY for any type of clerkship. Please take into account this is an Upon Arrival Document. (The Health insurance should cover everything related to medical issues, for example: in case you need to see a doctor or buy a prescription drug). It cannot be arranged in our country. The student needs to arrange them in their own country. Ask the NEO for our insurance contact.

We dont ask for Travel Insurance. If the students still want this insurance, they have to arrange them in their own country. This cannot be arranged in our country.

We dont ask for Malpractice Insurance because in Ecuador students can't have this document as being student. Only doctors can have this insurance. If the students still want this insurance, they have to arrange them in their own country. This cannot be arranged in our country.
