Upon arrivel the student is obligated to pay a deposit of €100 (paid in 2x€50) which will be refunded at the end of the stay, if the lodging is in the same condition as it was at check-in/arrivel. If you do NOT clean the apartment thoughroughly after your stay the CP will take 50 € from your deposit which will be used to pay for cleaning of the apartment.
In many cases the student will be staying in rented apartments/rooms in which case we require that the students take the full responsibility of renting the place (we pay the rent and do the arrangements of course).
Check-in: 10-22 on the Sunday before the Exchange starts.
Check-out: 8-18 on Saturday of the 4th week.
The lodging is for the student ONLY. Friends and relatives are not allowed to stay in the apartment.
You are not allowed to host parties sun-thur after 10pm and fri-sat after 01am. Please respect this.
PLEASE NOTE that you will have your own room, but often the apparment or dormitory hallway is shared with other students of mixed gender. Upon special request in AF female/male-only lodging is possible.
Depending on the LC you either get a meal ticket to use at the hospital cantine for lunch or 500DKK so you can bring lunch to the hospital.
THIS ALSO MEANS YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR SELF DURING THE EXCHANGE, COOK YOUR OWN MEALS (Breakfast and dinner), WASH YOUR OWN CLOTHES AND CLEANING THE APARTMENT.
(even if you are staying at the house of a danish family, they are only expected to show you how to use their kitchen, NOT cook meals for you, and you still prepare your own breakfast and dinner)
Contact NEO in case of a disability and we will discuss within the Exchange group and with the hospital, if it is possible to accept a student with disabilities.
Students applying in couples (of 2 people) will be placed in the same city, but we do not guarantee same department or accommodation. Students who apply more that two together cannot be guaranteed the same city.
