Clerkship Type
- Clinical Clerkship
A clinical clerkship is defined as the rotation of a student in a clinical department of a hospital or clinic, such as Dermatology and Pediatrics.
- Preclinical Clerkship
A preclinical clerkship is defined as the rotation of a student in a preclinical department at a Medical Faculty/School or Hospital, such as Biology and Chemistry

Even if accepted by the hosting country, students must be still enrolled in university by the time the Application Form is sent.

4 weeks, 7 hours a day, 5 days per week

Academic Quality
Missed lectures and practical classes are not tolerated. The student needs to accomplish all the requirements of each academic modules, in order to get the necessary credits.

The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them. So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones. (Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)
The upon arrival documents are hard copies documents that the students are requested to take with them in the host country.”
Immunization requirements
Make sure you are up-to-date on routine vaccines before every trip. These vaccines include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine, and your yearly flu shot.The CDC and WHO recommend the following vaccines for Moldova: thyfoid, hepatitis A and B, rabies and influenza.
Caution! Rabies can be found in dogs, bats, and other mammals in Moldov.

Insurance

Required.

Health insurance (gained from the own country of the incoming student). Necessary to be presented upon arrival.

Travel and Malpractice insurances are not required. If any student is willing to have such, one should obtain it in the native country, because we don’t have such types of insurances.
