Special Remarks

STUDENT WITH DISABILITIES: We can receive them. The placement of the student will happen according to universities where they have resources such as books written in Braille, easy ways for those who can not walk, elevators and special signs on the floors for blinds. We do not ask the student to travel with additional person.

COUPLES:
We can receive couples (two exchange students using bilateral contracts with IFMSA-Brazil) at the same city, but most of the times we are not able to place them in the same house or in the same hospital.

If a couple want to rent a place to stay together, they must do it on their own - in this case IFMSA Brazil won't pay neither for the board nor the lodging. This is an utterly an individual experience, everything is arranged in an individual basis, so don´t expect special arrangements when the exchange students apply either as a couple or friends.

Besides, check the Specific Remarks of Application Forms to more information about it.
