Uganda is the Pearl of Africa.  The most culturally diverse country in the world. Uganda is filled with very friendly and happy people.
OVERVIEW
Uganda is the Pearl of Africa...  beautiful diverse scenery very unique friendly and hospitable people. A Country steadily growing and rapidly developing.

HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
The Health care system comprises both public and private facilities. The public sector involves the government hospitals where medical care is free for all.
However the private sector includes private hospitals,  clinics. These places can be accessed by patients that can afford to pay for the services
MEDICAL EDUCATION
Uganda 7 public medical schools and makerere University College of health Sciences is the oldest medical school in the country. Other medical schools include Mbarara University,  Gulu University, Kampala international University,  Busitema University, Kabale University, Islamic University In Uganda and St Augustine International University (SAIU).
 Uganda being a tropical country,  we have tropical medicine among other disciplines offered in Uganda.  Paediatrics,  Surgery,  Gynecology and Obstetrics and internal medicine.
TRANSPORTATION
The main mode of transportation in Uganda is public transportation.i.e taxis,  buses and in the city centre, boda bodas.
SOCIAL PROGRAM
There are a number of interesting places to visit. These include the National game parks,  Uganda Museum,  Ngamba island with chimpanzees,  white water rafting on the source of the Nile,  bangee jumping, Bahai temple...
MUST SEE
Source of the Nile,  mountains of the Moon,  Lions of kidepo National game Park, mountain climbing on Muhavura peak, Bahai Temple,  Uganda Martyrs Shrine, Kasubi Royal tombs.
CULTURAL DIFFERENCES
There are 43 tribes with over 100 local languages spoken within the country.  The cultures vary from male circumcision among the bagisu (Mbalu)  to cultural dances like Amaganda dance among the Baganda, kitagururo among the Banyankole,  Orunyege among the Banyoro, Arakaraka dance among the Acholi. 
There are 3 kingdoms,  Buganda Kingdom,  Bunyoro Kingdom,  Tooro Kingdom.  There are many chiefdoms like the busoga chiefdom, rwenzururu chiefdom,  emorimori chiefdom.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There are many religious groups in the country like the the roman Catholics,  the Anglicans,  the Orthodox, the adventist church,  the Saved,  the traditionists. 
While coming to Uganda, please ensure that you have received all the following vaccines as stated below; Pertusis, Measles/Mumps/Rubella, Tetanus, Poliomyelitis, Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Influenza, Hepatitis B and Yellow fever vaccine.
