HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
The health care system in Argentina is composed of three sectors:
- The public sector, financed through taxes.
- The private sector, financed through voluntary insurance schemes.
- And the social security sector, financed through compulsory insurance schemes.
The Ministry of Health supervises the three subsectors of the care and safety system of regulation, evaluation and collection statistics.
There are 30 medical schools in Argentina that offer a 6-year curriculum that generally consists of 3 years of basic science, 2 years of clinical science and 1 year of internships. Annually, 5,000 doctors graduate from these programs. Admission requirements according to the policy of each university. Some do not have entry requirements; others require a course, usually on the foundations of mathematics, biology, chemistry or physics, and the introduction to social and humanistic studies.

Transportation in Argentina is mainly based on a complex network, crossed by long-distance buses and cargo trucks. The country also has several national and international airports. The importance of the long-distance train is less today, although in the past it was widely used. The river transport is used mainly for cargo.
Within urban areas, the main transport system is bus or collective; Bus lines transport a million people every day in the largest cities and their metropolitan areas. Buenos Aires has one subway, the only one in the country, and Greater Buenos Aires has a suburban train system.

The country has the highest consumption of red meat in the world, traditionally prepared as a barbecue, the Argentine barbecue. It is made with several types of meat, which often include sausage, sweetbreads, chitterlings and blood sausage.
Common desserts include invoices, cakes and pancakes filled with dulce de leche (caramelized variant of milk), alfajores (butter cookies interspersed with chocolate, dulce de leche or a fruit paste), and fried cakes.
Argentine wine, one of the best in the world, is an integral part of the local menu. Malbec, Torrontés, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay are some of the most sought after varieties.
The local music deeply marks the identity of the locals, starting from the tango in the center, to the characteristic folklore of the north.
