Cajamarca, a city considered the cradle of Peru, for having produced the historic center of the Incas and Spaniards there, in 1532. National University of Cajamarca:

The National University of Cajamarca is a licensed public university. It was founded in 1962, and today it is the main institution dedicated to teaching and research in the Region. The EsSalud hospital in Cajamarca is the Social Security Health hospital, which aims to protect the health of the insured population. It belongs to the Ministry of Labor of Peru, level II 2. Plaza de Armas (Main Square)


In the Plaza de Armas, of approximately 10,000 m2, the Inca Atahualpa was captured on November 16, 1532, by the Spanish conquerors so the encounter of two worlds takes place.

Baños del Inca


Thermal waters with temperatures above 70º. The minerals that compose them possess therapeutic properties for the treatment of affections to the bones and the nervous system. It has appropriate facilities for you to enjoy a relaxing bath. Originally, the place was called Pultumarca and according to tradition, it was the resting place of the Inca Atahualpa shortly before the confrontation with Pizarro.

Located 20 km southwest of the city of Cajamarca. It was discovered in 1937. The complex is surrounded by a fantastic forest of stones that resemble silhouettes of friars (which is why it is known as “Frailones”). They also highlight “El Farallón” in the shape of a human head, this place is known as the Sanctuary, inside which are petroglyphs with engravings of Chavín culture influences, the Aqueduct (pre-Inca canal), a gigantic work of hydraulic engineering. With an approximate age of 1000 B.C. and finally there are caves or shelters in these places are samples of petroglyphs.
