Campina Grande (Portuguese "Great Plain") is the second most populous Brazilian city in the State of Paraíba after João Pessoa, the capital. It is considered to be the most important city of the Northeastern Brazilian subregion called agreste. It is considered one of the main industrial, technological and educational centers in the northeastern region of Brazil. The city was officially founded in 1864. Campina Grande also has a large cultural agenda, including the world's largest Saint John's Festival (called O Maior São João do Mundo), which takes place during the entire month of June.

The host student or family will provide at least one meal per day.
The incomings are alocate in students flat house, family houses or republic houses, where students share a house and create a family bound. They will have their own bed and will be provided with one bathroom that can be shared or not, and internet acess, on the house or on the college.
You can arrive in Campina Grande by bus or airplane.
The bus station, a blueprint of the one in João Pessoa, is 3 km from the centre. Take bus 092, taxi (R$ 25) and Uber (R$15,00) to the center. The main cities you can take the bus to Campina Grande are Recife and João Pessoa.
João Pessoa by Real Bus at least once an hour from 5 AM to 8 PM, 2 hours, R$ 32,00.
