We are new LC planning to accept first incoming students in 2017.
Since we are new LC, we are very motivated to accept students and we are planning to hold many social programs.
Feel free to ask any questions and we are looking forward to welcoming you here in Akita in near future!

You can take plane from Tokyo Haneda Airport and it takes about 1 hr.
You can also ride on Shinkansen Komachi from Tokyo station to Akita station and it takes about 4 hrs.
If you want to travel cheaply, you can take night bus and it takes about 9 hrs.
The best season to visit Akita is spring and winter.
In spring, you should visit Kakunodate Buke-Yashiki where is very famous for sakura (cherry blossoms).
In winter, you can try skiing/snowboarding! Akita locates northern part of Japan, so you can enjoy great quality of snow :)
You can also enjoy Kamakura (snow dome) in winter.
Local food and sake are also recommended.
Hinai-Jidori is one of the most famous chicken bland in Japan.
Kiritampo, Inaniwa-udon are nice as well.
It's good to enjoy food with local sake.
