Panchavati Ram Kund
Panchavati has significant religious attributes for Hindus with significant temple complex on the bend of Godavari River.It is a pilgrimage site, with the Kumbhmela, the largest peaceful gathering in the world taking place every 12 years. Panchavti is the area where Hindu mythological God Lord Rama with his wife and brother stayed during their exile.
Ram kund is the holy place for Hindus. Devotees believe that dip in this tank will fulfill all their wishes and make them free of their sins.
Anjaneri is one of the exquisite attractions of Nasik city, which is also known as an important fort in the Trimbakeshwar region. Situated 4264 feet above sea level, Anjaneri is spiritual place between Nasik and Trimbakeshwar.
Anjaneri is birthplace of Lord Hanuman, and is named after Hanuman's mother ANJANI. Anjaneri is major delight for devout and hikers alike .
Trekkers from all around come here for one day trek to experience the pictuersque landscape and awesome weather.
TRIMBAKESHWAR SHIVA TEMPLE
Trimbakeshwar, an ancient Hindu temple in the town of Trimbak is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is dedicated to the god SHIVA.
Kusavata, a Kunda in the temple premises is the source of the longest river in pennisular India. The temple is situated 28 km from nasik city. Trimbakeshwar is the holiest and one of the important pilgrimage place.
Pandavleni caves are 2000-year-old, and it was built by the Jain Kings. It is a group of 24 Hinayana Buddhist Caves, which date back between 1st century BC and 2nd century AD. These caves are at a distance of 8 km from Nashik.
Caves are located midway up the Trirashmi Hill, some 100 m above the surroundings, facing north-east. Climb to caves is not too hard and the atmosphere around the caves is very peaceful. The carvings in the caves are worth seeing.
Wine tourism is the new buzzword in Nashik, around four hours from Mumbai. There are almost 50 wineries in and around Nashik, and excitingly for wine lovers, many Nashik vineyards now have tasting rooms. Some of the famous ones are SULA VINEYARD , SOMA VINEYARDS, YORK WINERY.
To get away from daily busy routine, vineyards are best place for relaxation and hangout with dear ones.
