Unit I of UMC was founded in 1973 and is located in an area of 86,000 m². Twelve buildings make up the complex that houses, among other facilities, 1,530 m² library, a cultural center, a Research Centre (CIIb) and TV Studio (Social Communication Course), and clinics (Psychology and Dentistry), studios Radio, labs and Centers of Research (NIB and NPT). In this unit, students also have access to other services and amenities that facilitate academic life as snack bars, copiers, bookstore and a bank agency.
Health Central Institute - Mogi das Cruzes / SP: The Unit III - Health Central Institute - ICS aims to combine the practical teaching of students in courses of Health Sciences area to the population of service, thereby enhancing the provision of services in public health in Mogi das Cruzes. Located in an area of 1,500.67 m² (3140.86 square meters of built area), the building has two buildings with three floors each, connected by walkways.
Opened in 1969, ICS worked initially as the School of Medicine, UMC, housing laboratories and anatomy rooms, and other environments that today make up the Health Sciences Area (installed at the Headquarters of Campus Unit I).
There is also internships in the Public Hospital, Hospital das Clínicas Luzia de Pinho Melo.
The host student or family will provide at least one meal per day / the hospital will provide it.
Our local meal consists in bread and coffee with wilk in the morning, and lunch and dinner with rice, red beans, some kind of meat (beef, eggs, chicken, pork or fish), vegetables and salad. Also, there are lots of italian, german, french and japanese culinary references.
The incomings are alocate in students flat house, family houses or republic houses, where students share a house and create a family bound. They will have their own bed and will be provided with one bathroom that can be shared or not, and internet acess, on the house or on the college.
Train- Mogi das Cruzes is served by trains on Line 11 Coral/Orange Companhia Paulista Metropolitan Trains (CPTM) and has four railway stations: Jundiapeba station; Station Brás Cubas; Station Mogi das Cruzes; Students Station, with access to two Mogi universities and the bus station.Through integrated network of transport, you can reach the cities of Mogi as Jundiai, Itapevi and Osasco, and all the ABC region. The system also allows free integration with the subway.

Taxi: If you are going to use taxi, you must know that, by law the taxi driver can only charge people with the checkered flag plus the flag I or II. the use of Flag II takes place on weekdays from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays full time. It will still be allowed to use the flag II in December, when the passenger request to use the trunk port or is carrying volume in quantity and / or significant weight.

* PICO DO URUBU: It's located on a high point of the Serra do Itapety, it is the one responsible for attracting tourists to the city of Mogi das Cruzes to offer the practice of free flight throughout the year. The peak is frequented by parasailing, paragliding and hang-gliding lovers, especially in winter. Cyclists often also access the ramp to watch the beautiful scenery and then down the vertical drop of 370 meters in relation to the ground zero of the city.

*Culture and Memory Center "Taro Konno" - The museum has a rich collection, the result of the donation of Japanese families, that tells the story of the first immigrants to arrive in Mogi das Cruzes, in 1919. These immigrants sought Mogi to be region of fertile land and free from diseases, perfect to family culture
This region can be cold in July and August, so remember to bring coats and warm clothes.
Bring your own white coat and stethoscope. You have to respect Brazil's norm NR 32: do not use accessories, wear closed shoes and tie your hair.
