OVERVIEW
ADDIS ABABA is the capital city of Ethiopia. Founded in 1886, it is the largest city in Ethiopia.As a chartered city ( ras gez astedader ), Addis Ababa has the status of both a city and a state . It is where the African Union and its predecessor the OAU are based. It also hosts the headquarters of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and numerous other continental and international organizations. Addis Ababa is therefore often referred to as "the political capital of Africa" due to its historical, diplomatic and political significance for the continent.The city is populated by people from different regions of Ethiopia
UNIVERSITY AND HOSPITALS
St. Paul's Hospital was founded during the time of Emperor Haile Selassie at a location now known as the regional bus terminal in the market place in Addis Ketema. It was established with the view of helping underserved populations who could not afford medical expenses. It was inaugurated in July 1947, equipped with 250 beds. The Hospital was first administered by the Ministry of Health, but hospital management was later transferred to a board of directors associated with what was then known as the Haile Selassie I Foundation. RESEARCH PROJECTS AND LABS and can be able to be one of the best hospital in the country. The medical school on the other hand was opened in Ethiopian millennium on 2007 GC. And is currently one of the best medical campus equipped with a management who thinks out of the box. Its very compitative to be enrolled at st. Paul's hospital millennium medical college now.

public transport is through public buses from Anbessa City Bus Service Enterprise or blue and white share taxis . The taxis are usually minibuses that can seat at most twelve people. Two people are responsible for each taxi, the driver and a weyala who collects fares and calls out the taxi's destination.you can use local airelines to visit far places out of the city
