To be the leading organization of students of the Medicine Career of the Central University of Ecuador, actors and protagonists of innovation in comprehensive medical education through an active, committed and trained team through the planning and organization of projects, training and exchanges pre-professional and research of National and International character, aimed at the preparation and motivation of our active members linking the academic, research and human.
With over 320 years old, the school of medicine of the Central University is the oldest in the country and it offers one of the best medical education quality in Ecuador, located in the capital city is placed in the start of the historical downtown and near of the most important hospitals in the city. We count with the support of the National Public Health Ministry and we are available to practice in all the public hospitals in the city and most of them are really near of the University.

The school of medicine of the Central University count with the suport of the Biomedical Center which is located in the best docent Hospital in Ecuador (Hospital General docente de Calderon), it have more than 15 labs divided in clinical and pre-clinical labs. The biomedical center spends the entire time to do research projects and prepare the students to publish in health magazines and research.

The school of medicine of the Central University is located in the start of Downtown of Quito-Ecuador, for the boarding the exchange student can use a lot off buss lines of public transportation, it cost 25 cents (US Dollar), or can access by taxi the cost depends of the hosting location.
