OVERVIEW

Aichi Prefecture is located in the central Japan facing in the Pacific Ocean. You'll get the downtown of Nagoya, the third biggest cities in Japan, in 30 minutes by the train from our university. Around Nagoya, there are a lot of sight seeing spots, Nagoya Castle, Atsuta Shurine and so on. Nagakute city, where our university is located, was the main site of EXPO 2005. Many big companies' headquarter, for example, TOYOTA Motor Corporation, are in this area, so it's economically developed.

UNIVERSITY AND HOSPITALS

Aichi Medical University has only two departments, the school of medicine and the college of nursing, so it's small university. The university hospital is next to the university and they are connected. The new hospital buildings were opened in 2014. They serve high quality and high technology medical service. One of the big feature is the Doctor Helicopter. Here is the important hospital of this area.
