UNIVERSITY AND HOSPITALS

In 1996, prominent representatives of the education sector, meeting under the presidency of José Dextre Chacón, decided to found a new university. After two years of efforts, on February 5, 1998, the National Council for the Authorization of University Operations (CONAFU) approved the operation of the Universidad Científica del Sur through Resolution No. 356-98-CONAFU. Its first Organizing Committee was chaired by the Peruvian wise man Dr. Fernando Cabieses Molina, who was the first Rector of the university. The first students of the university, the medical students, created a Facebook page, "Sociedad de Estudiantes de Medicina (MSS) EMH Fernando Cabieses Molina", in his honor.

We have many public hospitals where you can do your management:

We also have agreements with military hospitals:

The Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo is the first Peruvian public hospital centre administered by the Peruvian Ministry of Health, considered the first hospital in Peru and America. It was founded by initiative of the Cabildo of the City of Lima in the year 1538 with the name of Our Lady of the Conception; In 1553 it changed its name to Real Hospital de San Andrés "and since 1875 it is called Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo.

It receives any medical student who wishes to perfect or learn new techniques, with previous coordination with the university. For example, nasogastric tube placement, intravenous line placement, CPR, we even have a simulation room for deliveries and emergencies in internal medicine.
