Frankfurt is the most international city in Germany, the largest financial centre on the continent, the historical city of coronations, the city of Goethe and the Frankfurt School... In brief, the smallest metropolis in the world.
Popular sites in Frankfurt are the Römer (Frankfurts famous town hall), Paulskirche (The cradle of German democracy) and Saint Barholomew's Imperial Cathedral (The coronation site of German emperors).
Typical for Frankfurt are its high-rise buildings, which form the skyline of Frankfurt, and its "Ebbelwei" pubs, where you can drink the famous Frankfurt wine made of apples.
