Campina Grande (Portuguese "Great Plain") is the second most populous Brazilian city in the State of Paraíba after João Pessoa, the capital. It is considered to be the most important city of the Northeastern Brazilian subregion called agreste. It is considered one of the main industrial, technological and educational centers in the northeastern region of Brazil. The city was officially founded in 1864. The bus station, a blueprint of the one in João Pessoa, is 3 km from the centre. Take bus 092, taxi (R$ 25) and Uber (R$15,00) to the center. The main cities you can take the bus to Campina Grande are Recife and João Pessoa.
João Pessoa by Real Bus at least once an hour from 5 AM to 8 PM, 2 hours, R$ 32,00.
