Academic requirements for the students
- In order to get their certificates, the Incomings are requested to give to the hosting LORE at the end of the clerkship a copy of the Logbook (filled), a report of the exchange and must fill their EF.

- Our LCs offer various workshops and trainings during the year. Please ask your LORE if you would like to participate in these activities.

- In order to get the certificate, the student must complete at least 80% of the clerkship.

- Any failure to attend the clerkship must be justified.

- Attend at least 70% of the workshops and presentations. 

- If the student does not respect the working conditions of the department, the clerkship, including boarding and lodging, will be cancelled.

Calendar Remarks
The student must choose a calendar month. (From the 1st to the 28th)

Outside of July and August, if he/she wishes to come on different dates, the IFMSA-Morocco's NORE must approve it beforehand.

July and August spots are limited, and the students will be selected on a first AF received first served.

Since our exam period is in December/January and May/June, we highly recommend NOT to come during these months so that you will not be alone.

Unilateral fee (special remarks)
Unilateral fees are to be transferred to the account of IFMSA-Morocco two months before the start of the exchange. Detailed instructions as well as account numbers for financial proceedings will be provided by mail via morocco.nore@gmail.com after reception of the AF.
Please note that the transfer fees are to be in charge of the student.

Social Program
We provide a free social program during the summer (at least one free trip in the month of July and August).<br />The local comitiies can (whenever possible) also provide the incomings with social program activities all through the year, except for exam months.<br /><br />
Special Remarks
Friends, relatives or pets will not be accepted. 

Couples may apply together, but we can not insure that they will get the same LC or project.

The exchangee is responsible for the damage or misuse of materials, rooms or any other item that is lent to him during his/her stay and practice. The exchangee will pay any incurred cost.

Clerkships are cancelled when the LC receives claims from the hospital for behavioural and/or professional notices. Lodging and board are not guaranteed after this cancellation. 

Boarding :

For boarding, we provide restaurant tickets or we give pocket money for food, in case if you are not in a host family. 
We provide 700 MAD (about 63 €) as pocket money if we do not offer boarding, in order to cover at least 2 meals (breakfast + lunch or dinner) per working day.

General Information
Application Forms and Documents should be sent before the March Meeting for clerkships in July, August and September.
For the rest of the year, it should be provided at least 4 months before the start of the clerkship. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the clerkship.

The student must choose a calendar month. If he/she wishes to come on different dates, the NORE has to be notified beforehand.

The student must choose 3 different LCs.

If your home university has any special demands, such as documents that need to be signed, please mention it on the remarks section of your AF.
Any additional documents must be requested at least 6 weeks in advance.

Documents specific to the LC of Casablanca:

Health Insurance : Should be in French, cover corporal damages that might occur during practice in hospital. If it's not possible, download this document , stamp it by the insurance company and send it together with the original document given by your insurer.

Proof of Enrollment Should be in french. If not possible, download this document. Stamp it by the university/dean and send it together with the original document given by the faculty.

Liability insurance: should be in French. Casablanca's Incomings need to get it in their own countries and send before the start of the exchange

Upon Arrival documents
The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them. So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones. (Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)
The upon arrival documents are hard copies documents that the students are requested to take with them in the host country.”

Countries that need invitation letters for their students are requested to inform the NORE at least 5 weeks in advance.

We will try our best to provide additional documents but must be notified as early as possible.

The type of visa required depends on the sending country's Embassy.

Special remarks
We require a health insurance (Covering emergency care). This insurance needs to be presented upon arrival or the exchange will be cancelled.

As NMO we do not ask for Malpractice Insurance thus the exchange student is not required to be insured for Malpractice, this insurance should be arranged in your home country if wanted, we do not have this type of insurance in our country.

If a civil liability insurance is requested at any time, it can be arranged in our NMO for a fee of around 20 euros.

- In case of cancellation, no money will be refunded

- Substitution has to be reported to the NORE at the latest six weeks before the scheduled start of the clerkship. The student or NORE of the country who cancelled has to send a letter to apologise to the Tutor three weeks in advance.
