It is very complicated for us to organize your exchange, especially the accomodation is tough to organize. That's why need this amount of time. We will gladely put up with this work however, we need you to help us. Answer our emails quickly and please follow our instructions. Thank you!

GENERAL
- We cannot guarantee the student to be placed in one of his/her desired projects (especially in summer). The sooner you send the AF, the more likely you will get the project you apply for.
- Be sure to be fluent in English to be able to communicate in the lab! We request either a language certificate and/or a skype interview to verify the language skills. B2 level is the minimum in English! For specific projects German might be requested too. Please refer to the project description.

PROOF OF ENROLLMENT
- We need an official Proof of Enrollment from everyone. This is a crucial requirement of the Swiss Government. Requirements for the Proof of Enrollment are:
- With stamp and signature
- State expected day of graduation
- Must comprise the time the student will have the exchange (for example "student is enrolled from April to October 2015 and the exchange is in September)
- Must be uploaded to your AF

ACADEMIC QUALITY
- We would like to have one motivation letter for each project (min 250 words, max one page)
- The SCORE Logbook is mandatory. (Ask your NORE to get it). Bring it with you and fill it out during your internship (necessary to obtain your certificate):
- We take Academic Quality seriously and expect you to attend work regularly and punctually, be prepared and motivated.
- Please make sure the motivation letter & CV fit to the project and are written properly. These are important documents for the tutor to decide on accepting the student.
- Longer projects are prefered (2 - 3 months). This way you and the lab team can profit the most from it.

UNILATERAL
- The unilateral fee is to be transferred to bank account at least two months before the beginning of your exchange. We will inform you about the details.
