In order to ensure academic quality we demand at least 80% attendance to our clerkships.

NMSS has implemented Academic Quality within its exchanges. Students are encouraged and expected to fill out the logbook (Student's Handbook) of their own NMO. If students do not have a logbook we will provide a digital copy of our own version and expect students to complete it in order to gain their exchange certificate in the end .

We request to complete the evaluation form once the clerkship is ended.

Cities Remarks
Only one Local committee which is SCOPE active .

It is Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital ( TUTH ), Institute of Medicine. It lies in the in the canter of the Kathmandu city, the capital of Nepal. Also called as, the City of Temples.

Kathmandu Valley comprises the three ancient cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, which were once independent states ruled by the Malla kings from the 12th to the 18th centuries.

The three cities house seven UNESCO World Heritage shrines which are together listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (Culture). The valley is also home to hundreds of other exquisite monuments, sculptures, artistic temples and magnificent art – reminders of the golden era in Nepal’s architecture.

Because of the earthquake some of heritage sites were destroyed, but after that most of them have been repaired and reconstructed and their beauty inspires awe just like it did before the disaster.

We receive students throughout the year.
