Ghanaians Speak Fluent English and TWI( the local dialect as well). All hospital clerkship are in English. However some patients would speak the local dialect. You may get Translations though
Clerkship Type
- Clinical Clerkship
A clinical clerkship is defined as the rotation of a student in a clinical department of a hospital or clinic, such as Dermatology and Pediatrics.

Even if accepted by the hosting country, students must be still enrolled in university by the time the Application Form is sent.

4 weeks, 8 hours a day, 5 days per week

Rotation,accomodation and boarding are free for Bilateral contracts. however, unilateral fees are to be paid to FGMSA on arrival following the procedure document that will be given by the NEO-In through email. Unilateral fee is compulsory even without patronage of the said things it covers

Invitation letters are enough for applicants to receive a visa.
Ghana is super visa friendly and some nationals may not even need a visa to enter. Check with the NEO every time and the website above to confirm anything

The standard documents are the basic documents that the students are asking for and the special documents are less important, as only some Local Committees ask for them. So it's mandatory to upload the standard documents, but not the special ones. (Students do it when asked for by the LEO/NEO.)
The upon arrival documents are hard copies documents that the students are requested to take with them in the host country.”

Insurance
Health insurance: It covers expenses linked to health issues (if you have to see a doctor and buy drugs on prescription)
As an nmo we require health  insurance however, this  insurance cannot be arranged in our country, and should be arranged in your home country. We do not require a travel insurance. This insurance ca only be arranged in your home country.
we do not require malpractice insurance since the clerkships will be observerships. This insurance cannot be arranged in our country.
